Socionomera
Malmö, Sweden
“The multi-year winner of the Gasell Prize and one of Skåne’s fastest-growing companies, Socionomera, moved into Malmö’s new World Trade Center in Västra Hamnen at the beginning of 2024. The modern space, featuring standardized glass partitions, carpet tiles, and suspended ceiling tiles, was transformed with architectural solutions and bespoke furniture to create a strong identity and distinctive character. Expansive glass sections along the façade allow ample natural light, which enabled a bold, deep colour palette. Varied timber types and a striking circular sofa fulfill the client’s vision of an inclusive, calming, and ‘jazzy’ style. The design also incorporates acoustic wall panels that offer a classic yet bold expression in calm colours, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Design classics are featured prominently in the office, and the decision to minimize the number of furniture brands used emphasizes a commitment to sustainability. These timeless and durable pieces help reduce waste and limit the need for frequent replacements.”
